(CNEEC), a subsidiary of Sinomach, recently concluded the demolition of the fourth turbine wheel at the Üch-Korgon Hydro Power Plant in Kyrgyzstan, marking a significant milestone in the development of the nation's energy sector. The swift completion of this task, two weeks ahead of schedule, has garnered praise from the Kyrgyz Ministry of Energy, project owner, and relevant government bodies, as reported by local mainstream media.

Situated in southwest Kyrgyzstan's Jalal-Abad region and known as the country's first hydro power plant, the project bears strategic importance in local economic and social development and the enhancement of the wellbeing of the Kyrgyz people. Serving as a flagship initiative in the transformation of Kyrgyzstan's energy sector, the project consists of the renovation of the existing 4×45 MW axial flow slurry unit, augmenting its capacity to 4×56 MW, together with comprehensive restoration efforts.
